The cafe also offers a great view of the city. nThe West Village Cafe is a wonderful spot to unwind and eat delicious food. The adaptability and evolution of NYC cafes is one of their most charming characteristics. This flexibility is evidence of the tenacity and inventiveness of the individuals in charge of these businesses. Thanks to social media and word-of-mouth, a small, local attraction can quickly grow into a must-see location. The city is always evolving, and its cafes are no different. In the meantime, established cafes continue to prosper by embracing new trends and remaining current. The thought of coffee and New York's ubiquitous artisanal coffee shops immediately came to mind. As I began to reflect on how fantastic Chef's Table was, I also began to think about what factors shaped the New York culinary scene. I'll end by mentioning an incident that occurred roughly ten years ago that, in my opinion, is comparable to the kinds of food you might find in a cafe in New York City. One of the guys on the trip began to gripe about the lack of food and the delay. She inquired as to what each person was willing to eat. We all traveled to Ireland for a wedding, and inexplicably, I ended up in a small town outside of Belfast with a bunch of people I hardly knew and had only recently met. She returned a few minutes later with a large shopping bag filled with bread, deli meat, and a large quantity of chips (crisps). She prepared a small meal for us all once we were comfortable on the side of the road. Before boarding the bus, we shared, ate, laughed, and chatted for a while. For me, the summer of 1999 was a fascinating period. Making sure everyone had something they were willing to eat was ultimately what mattered. On the way back to Belfast, a bus broke down and we were waiting for it. If you wish to operate your own cafe, the same concept holds true. It was a fun evening and the bread, meat and chips tasted great. After that, she went out into the streets in search of supplies. I approach every cafe from a unique angle. Through this project, I hope to network with other coffee enthusiasts and encourage others to view cafes as more than just places to get coffee.
